Q: Are "reglazing", “resurfacing” and "refinishing"
all the same process?
A: They are all used interchangeably for
refinishing porcelain, laminate, ceramic tile, fiberglass and cast iron
fixtures. .
Q: How long does it take?
A: Refinishing usually takes only three to six hours to
complete.
Q: Are there any offensive odors with refinishing?
A: Because resurfacing is a coating there are odors associated with it. There
may be a slight odor after we are finished that should dissipate with in a few
hours. Our technicians use a sophisticated ventilation system we help minimize these
odors to your home
Q: How long do we have to wait before we can use our refinished
surface?
A: You can take a shower the same night!
Although, bathtubs should not be filled for 24 hours. 24 hours is our current
standard for coatings and we highly recommend waiting to create the best
possible opportunity for your new surface to cure.
Q: Do I need to take special care of a refinished surface?
A: After
your surface has been refinished you will be provided with care &
maintenance instructions. The most important instruction is not to use any
abrasive cleaners.
Q: How long will my resurfaced bathtub last?
A:. With proper
care & maintenance your tub could last up to 10+ years!

Q: I am concerned my tub will look painted? Will it be the same as the
original finish?
A: The products we use are more like a coating then paint, there will be no brush
marks, or drips because they are sprayed on. The products we use also bond directly
to the substrate of your surface becoming a part of it. When your tub is
finished it should have a high gloss finish that looks like it just came off
the factory floor even if it didn’t!
Q: Can you refinish a tub that has been already refinished?
A: Yes, we simply strip the surface from the previous coating and refinishing it
again like new.
Q: What kind of repairs can you do?
A: For bathtubs, showers and tile surrounds, we can fix cracks, rust,
scratches, dull spots, chips, pits and discoloration in the refinishing
process. For fiberglass we have several methods to fix your surface depending
on the repair. We also do tile repairs/replacement! Kitchens countertops we the
resurfacing process eliminates: chips, knife
cuts, burn marks, stains & scratches!
Q: What colors are available?
A: We offer many standard colors for bathtubs White, Biscuit, & Bone,
however we can defiantly order a custom
color!
For
countertop and ceramic tiles we offer two different selections lines: Our Standard Finish that is a solid base
with a secondary color flecked in for additional contrast. Or our Premium Finish
an Imitation Stone Coating that can bring a high quality look to your space.

Q: What is acid etching?
A: Etching or also known as an acid wash, is an
essential part of creating adhesion for resurfacing. We understand some companies promote an
"acid free" process as more safe. It is important to know though, that our acid wash becomes neutralized during the cleaning process preventing
any harmful reactions. Also, our technicians are fully trained and take every precaution to protect areas in and around where we are resurfacing.

A: Tubs, wall tile, sinks, vanity tops, showers and shower bases, laminate countertops,
cast iron porcelain, pressed steel enamel, fiberglass, and acrylic &
